About Kiko
In studying for my architectural degree, I learned many things that I now bring into my interior design career. The relationship with my clients is very close and personal. In order for me to design the perfect space for you, I need to know as much about you as I possibly can. I need to know how you are going to utilize the space where you live, be it a permanent residence or a second home. I need to dig way into your personal space to be sure I understand what you need in terms of style, color and expectations. If you plan on using the space as a rental property, then we need to be sure that the space is going to be able to compete with the hundreds of other properties the consumer will be seeing online. We must ensure that it is attractive and desirable so when potential renters see it, they immediately want to stay in that space and generate a great return on your investment.
I once had a client ask about how long I had been working in the field of interior design. Instead of giving a specific number of years, I responded by saying “I was the kind of kid that, at the early age of 6 or 7, my bedroom had to have colored accent walls, matching throw pillows, accent chairs and always ready for photographs. My parents always had confidence in my abilities and I decorated and redecorated our living room many times over the years.
I am a creative designer and I see blank canvases everywhere, including my own house, the vehicles I drive, and the clothes I wear.
If you are tired of the same predictable interior designers with their cookie cutter design concepts, then schedule a consultation with me and I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.
